Author Guidelines

One of the main directions of the journal's policy is the publication of original articles that meet the standards of high scientific quality. Research and review articles are accepted for publication in the journal.

Discussion articles are welcome.

The article is submitted to the editorial office of the journal at the address: kultisheva@inbox.ru.

Submitting the article in hard copy is not required!

All accompanying documents that contain a signature and / or seal are uploaded in scanned form.

To increase the "visibility" of authors, it is recommended to submit their identifiers from ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) http://www.orcid.org/) when submitting an article.

When submitting an article, the author confirms that the article has not been previously published and is under consideration in another journal. Simultaneous submission ("fan mailing") of a manuscript to different journals is considered a serious violation of ethical standards. Revealing duplicate publications can lead to refusal to accept manuscripts of these authors, as well as to retraction (withdrawal) of already published duplicate articles.

The language of the journal is Russian, English.

If the main language of the article is Russian, then the article must have a translation into English of the title, annotation, keywords, information about the author (s).

If the main language is English, then the article must have a translation into Russian of the title, abstract, keywords, information about the author (s).

The order of consideration of the article

After receiving the article is reviewed (double-blind), then the editorial board gives an opinion on the advisability of publishing the submitted message. The full term for consideration of materials is at least 1 month.

The structure of the article in Russian:

  1. UDC code;
  2. Name, patronymic, surname of the author (s);
  3. Title of the article;
  4. Abstract (200 - 250 words); the abstract should contain the following information: the purpose and objectives of the scientific research; methodology and scientific approaches, the main results obtained; conclusions; originality / value of the data obtained; practical significance; direction of further research.
  5. Key words (5 - 7 words; separated from each other by semicolons);
  6. Information about the author: Full name. completely, academic degree (undergraduates, graduate students, applicants indicate the university and department), position, place of work (city, organization, division); ORCID.
  7. Contact information: includes postal address, telephone and e-mail;

Items 2-7 are also indicated in English.

  1. The text of the article;
  2. Illustrations and captions to them reflecting the name, dating, etc.;
  3. List of abbreviations (if any);
  4. Literature (in Russian).

The research paper should include the following sections:

  • introduction;
  • experimental part;
  • the discussion of the results;
  • conclusions;
  • a list of references in the order of citation.

The structure of the review article differs only in its content. All its sections reflect the author's intention.

The article does not allow hidden non-printable characters and other tricks that prevent you from checking the article for anti-plagiarism.

Approximate requirements for the volume of articles: up to 1 printed sheet (from 4 to 16 pages).

Reviews. Critical generalization of a research topic for a certain period of time (most often 5-10 years); on average 5-10 pages.

Research paper - standard format for completed research papers - 6–8 pages.

Submission of materials

The text of the article must be accompanied by:

  1. An article in Doc and Pdf format (pictures and diagrams will be based on Pdf).
  2. Application (Information about each author, including: last name, first name, patronymic; place of work; position; academic degree; academic title; e-mail address (e-mail); work postal address, telephone, fax. It must be indicated, with whom of the authors you need to correspond).
  3. Agreement on the transfer of copyright (the text of the agreement is posted on the journal's website).

Technical requirements for the article file.

The article file must be prepared in Microsoft Word format. It is recommended to use Times New Roman font, font size 11 pt, line spacing 1, indent 1, alignment.

In the list, all works are listed in alphabetical order. The names of the magazines cannot be abbreviated.

It is advisable to cite sources published within the last 20 years.

In the text of the article, references to sources are placed in parentheses and formatted as follows:

if the work has one author - (Frolova 1997: 215);

if the work has two authors - (Smith, White 2004);

if the work has more than two authors - (Overman et al. 1997: 59; Smith et al. 2007: 33);

for archival materials - (RGALI. F. 297. Op. 2. D. 90. L. 15-16).

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with each of the following items, and submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors.

  • Отсутствие плагиата в тексте. Авторы гарантируют, что эта статья целиком или частично не была раньше опубликована, а также не находится на рассмотрении и в процессе публикации в другом издании. Если рукопись ранее была подана для рассмотрения в другие издания, но не была принята к публикации - обязательно укажите это в сопроводительном письме, в противном случае редакция может неверно истолковать результаты проверки текста на наличие неправомочных заимствований и отклонить рукопись. 

  • Правильный формат. Отправляемый файл рукописи имеет формат Microsoft Word или RTF - *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf. При оформлении рукописи соблюдены все требования редакции по оформлению текста, рукопись отформатирована в соответствии с указаниями официального сайта журнала (см. тут)

  • Сопроводительные документы. Авторы подготовили для передачи в редакцию сопроводительное письмо (заявка на публикацию и анкеты авторов) и обязуются загрузить его на сайт журнала на Шаге 3 в процессе отправки рукописи. Шаблон можно скачать по ссылке.

  • Дополнительные файлы. Авторы подготовили для передачи в редакцию и обязуются загрузить на сайт в процессе подачи рукописи:

    • графические файлы (фотографии, изображения, графики и т.п. в высоком разрешении);
    • файлы данных, которые целесообразно опубликовать вместе со статьей в электронном виде (первичные данные, база данных, результаты стат.анализа, медиа-материалы и др.).
  • Авторство:

    Авторы подтверждают, что:

    • все участники, внесшие существенный вклад в исследование, представлены как Соавторы;
    • не приведены в качестве Соавторов те, кто не участвовал в проведении исследования;
    • все Соавторы видели и одобрили окончательную версию работы и согласились с представлением ее к публикации (подтверждением этого являются подписи всех авторов в сопроводительном письме).
 

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licensee (CC BY 4.0) that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  3.   1. Parties to the contract

and FSBEI HE "Nizhnevartovsk State University" (hereinafter - "Publisher"), represented by the rector Sergey Ivanovich Gorlov, acting on the basis of the Charter, for publication in the journal "Nizhnevartovsk Philological Bulletin" transfers

(hereinafter referred to as "Materials"), have entered into an agreement as follows:

  1. Subject of the contract

2.1. Copyright

The Author (and each co-author) from the date of entry into force of this Agreement transfers the Materials to the Publisher, including the rights to edit, reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute or otherwise use the Materials or parts (fragments) contained therein for inclusion in scientific, educational, technical or professional databases, library repositories.

The reproduction, placement, transfer or other distribution or use of the Materials or any separate part (fragment) of the Material contained therein, in any way permitted by this Agreement, must be accompanied by a link to the Journal and a mention of the Publisher, namely: (title of the article, name of the Author (co-authors) , title of the Journal, volume / number, copyright of the Publisher of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Nizhnevartovsk State University" or another copyright holder specified in the Journal, year of first publication).

The transfer of rights under this Agreement includes the right to process the form for submitting Materials for use in interaction with computer programs and systems (databases), reproduction, publication and distribution in a machine-readable format and implementation in search systems (databases).

2.2. Reserved rights

The Author (co-authors) or Employer of the Author (co-authors) of the Materials retains all rights (except for the rights assigned to the Publisher under this Agreement) of the owner of the Materials, including patent rights for any processes, methods or methods, etc., described by the Author (co-authors) in the Materials, as well as trademark rights.

2.3. Other rights of the Author (s) of the Materials

The Publisher allows the Author (s) of the Materials (employer) to:

  1. The right to use printed or electronic preprints of unpublished Materials in the form and content accepted by the Publisher for publication in the Journal. Such preprints may be posted as electronic files on the website of the Author (s) or on a secure external website of the employer of the Author (s) of the Materials, but not for commercial sale or systematic external distribution by a third party. In this case, the Author must:
  • include the following warning in the preprint: "This is a preprint of the Materials accepted for publication in (Journal name, (©), copyright (year), copyright holder indicated in the Journal)";
  • provide an electronic link to the Publisher's websites with the URL: http://filvestnik.nvsu.ru https://www.nvsu.ru/.
  1. The right to photocopy or share with colleagues a copy of a printed article, in whole or in part, for their personal or professional use, for the advancement of academic or scientific research, or for employer information purposes, as set out below.
  2. The right to use Materials from a published article in a book written by the Author (s).
  3. The right to use individual figures or tables and passages of text from the Materials for your own educational purposes or to include them in other work published (in print or electronic format) by a third party, or for presentation in electronic format on an internal computer network or on an external web - the site of the Author (s) or his employer.
  4. The right to include Materials in educational collections for use in the classroom, for free distribution of Materials to students of the Author (co-authors), or to save Materials in electronic format on a local server for students to access, as part of the training course, as well as for internal training programs at the employer's institution ...

2.4. Materials owned by the Employer

  • If the Materials were prepared in order to fulfill the service assignment, and they are the property of the Employer, then the Author (co-authors) must receive (in addition to their signature) the signature of the Employer in Appendix No. 1 to this Agreement. By this Agreement, the Employer transfers to the Publisher all copyrights to use the Materials as specified in 2.1 on the conditions provided for in this Agreement.
  • In addition to the rights specified in 2.2 and the rights assigned to the Author (s) in accordance with paragraph 2.3, the Publisher hereby grants such an Employer the right to make copies and distribute printed Materials within the institution in print or electronic form on the local server of the Employer for a non-commercial use. Accommodation Employer Any published Materials on a public server can be carried out only with the written consent of the Publisher and upon making all necessary payments.

2.5. Copyright warning

The Author / Employer agrees that each copy of the Materials or any part of it, distributed or posted by them in print or electronic format, as permitted by this Agreement, will contain an indication of the copyright provided for in the Journal and a full link to the Publisher's Journal.

2.6. Author's guarantees

The author (co-authors) guarantees that the Materials are original work, submitted for consideration only to this Journal and have not been previously published. If the Materials were written jointly with co-authors, the Author guarantees that he informed them about the terms of this Agreement and received their signatures or written permission to sign on their behalf.

(If the Materials include excerpts from works or references to works protected by copyright and owned by a third party, then the Author must obtain the written permission of the copyright owners for all uses and link to the source). The Author also guarantees that the Materials do not contain defamatory statements and do not infringe on the rights (including without limitation copyright, or patent or trademark rights) of others and do not contain materials or instructions that may cause harm or damage to third parties and their publication will not lead to the disclosure of classified or confidential information (including state secrets).

2.7. Obligations and guarantees of the Publisher

The Publisher undertakes to publish the Materials within the terms established by the Publishing House and provide the Author (co-authors), upon his request, with an electronic copy of the Materials after their publication, subject to providing the Publisher with an e-mail address.

The Publisher guarantees the international standard of works, the distribution of the Materials throughout the world in accordance with the orders received, the protection of copyright from illegal use by third parties and the observance of the personal non-property rights of the Author (co-authors) of the Materials.

2.8. Entry into force of the Treaty

This Agreement shall enter into force in the event and from the moment the Editorial Board of the Journal makes a decision to accept the Materials for publication and is valid for the period provided for in clause 1 2. If the Materials are not accepted for publication or the Author (s) has withdrawn the work before "publication", this Agreement does not enter into (lose) force.

The Parties agreed that, in accordance with the current legislation, they allow and recognize the reproduction of the text of this Agreement and the signatures of the Parties on this Agreement and other necessary and obligatory documents thereto (referred to in this Agreement) by using means of mechanical, electronic or other copying of a handwritten signature and the text of the Agreement, which will have the same force as the original signature of the Party or the original document. Facsimile (electronic) copies of documents are valid and have equal legal force along with the original ones.

 

Privacy Statement

Редакционная коллегия журнала и администрация сайта журнала не передает персональную информацию, каким-либо образом указанную пользователями при работе с сайтом журнала, третьим лицам, за исключением тех случаев и в том объеме, который указан в условиях авторского договора.

Место работы и адрес электронной почты авторов рукописи, принятой к печати, будут опубликованы в разделе «Сведения об авторах» печатного варианта журнала и в разделе «Об авторах» на странице статьи на сайте журнала.

Номер телефона автора, ответственного за переписку, будет известен только секретариату редакционной коллегии и будет использован только в случае крайней необходимости.
