Explaining the essential ways of their perception by different ethnoses, the article maintains that similar mythological world views are common to different peoples thus bearing and manifesting identical characters and images. Together, these images and characters make a certain part of human soul and appear as basic concepts - archetypes. Mythologemes, a component part of mythogenesis, with their ability to absorb past experiences and foreground reality are a basic pattern to create new myths. Mythologemes amalgamate archaic thinking with the author’s individual mythopoetics. Mythologemes are an essential foundation of the text, they epitomize the dynamics of the archetypal source matter with its unique ability to transform. Mythological elements consciously borrowed and translated into artistic culture make the cornerstone of a mythologeme as a literary term. All mythological world views manifest worship of God-Mother, the main female deity. The paper argues that God-Mother mythologeme is a part and characteristic of various cultural traditions. It neither affiliates a certain culture nor belongs to a particular period of time. The paper links it to the perception of a woman as a cradle of life. The similarity of plots employing God-Mother witnessed in many mythologies, demonstrate the foundation strength of this mythologeme in the world culture history. This mythologeme epitomized in many ethoses is one of the most recurrent constructions. In Khanty-Mansi mythology this mythologeme is embodied in the female deity, Numi-Torum’s wife, Mother-deity whose cult is one of the most ancient in the world.the mythology of the Ob Ugriansarchetypethe myth of the Mother Goddesscultural traditionmythмифология обских угровархетипмифологема Богини - Материкультурная традициямиф[Иванов В.В.
